June & July Art in the County is an annual juried exhibition of the highest quality of work by renowned County artists and artisans. County artists submit their works to three distinguished and experienced art experts who are professionally qualified jurors. These jurors are solely responsible for selecting the content for the show, the five Jurors’ Choice Awards and five Honourable Mentions. On Art in the County’s opening night, the jury’s selections—more than 100 pieces—are unveiled and the winners announced. During Art in the County’s three-week run, visitors are invited to vote for the People’s Choice, which is awarded at the closing of the show. Art in the County is open to the public above Books & Company in Picton. Website: www.artinthecounty.com

Located in a small, but eclectic space in the heart of Wellington Ontario, The Sybil Frank Gallery, offers fine art ranging from contemporary modern to landscapes, a bit of whimsy, and bold sculptural pieces. Named after my Grandmothers Sybil and Frances, (we always called her Grandma Frank), I try to create a story through art that honours and emulates the memory of both these amazing women; one, bold and daring, who could command attention just by walking into a room, and the other graceful, elegant and ethereal. The gallery represents a collection of artists both locally and from across the country. Sybil Frank promises to be an art experience where one can find unique talent with vision, artistry and the unexpected. 305 Main Street (at the corner of West and Main) in the heart of Wellington near the Drake Devonshire Hotel
