Clafeld: Before the wine boom, in Prince Edward County, one could say that Waupoos was the apple basket of the area. With hundreds of acres of orchards planted, Waupoos produced many varieties of apples. Some of these apple tress still stand and naturally, this is where Clafeld’s Fruit Winery and Cider House is found. In addition to our hard ciders and flavoured wine, we also have a line of preserves made by our chef Lili Sullivan. A huge selection of jams, jellies, chutneys, sauces and picked vegetables. Throughout the summer months, we offer fresh food. Take it to go or enjoy it with a glass of cider on our licensed patio, overlooking Lake Ontario. Welcome to the world of Honey Pie Hives & Herbals. It’s the place to go for all things honey and herbal. Look for the signs and drive down our long lane past the colourful beehives to find our farm store and mead tasting room in our strawbale farmhouse. We keep bees and grow herbs on our farm in Prince Edward County, Ontario. We combine beeswax and propolis with organic herbs to make natural healthful products. We are a small, farm-based business. All of our products are made by hand in our workshop in our farmhouse ~ except for the honey which is made by the bees! Open Wed. – Sun. 9am-5pm May – October Open Sat & Sun 9am-5pm November & December Open by appointment January – April We take all our goods to market in Toronto too! We’re at The Stop’s Farmers Market at Wychwood Barns in Toronto, Ontario every Saturday from 8AM-1PM. This year-round farmers’ market is at Christie St. and St. Clair West.
