The Legion mandate is three fold. First, as the keeper of Remembrance Day, Legion Branches are also dedicated to the support of local Veteran’s and their dependents and lastly; they are actively involved in community Youth and Education. The Poppy Fund is an important part of the Legion movement, raising money for veterans in need. The Legion performs community services beyond the capability of the individual, assistance to the aging, to youth, to churches and food banks to name just a few. Bingo, turkey rolls, barbecues and suppers are just some of our regular fund raising events. Each Legion Branch has a licensed club service room that is open to the public and catered Legion halls that are available for public rental.
