The Nature Shop at the Sandbanks Visitor Centre is stocked with a variety of Sandbanks souvenirs, clothing items, artwork, nature books and guides, and much more. Be sure to bring your Friends of Sandbanks membership card to receive your 10% discount. New merchandise is on display from Mother’s Day when the shop is open 10:00 am till 4:30 pm every day, Wednesday 10:00 to 1:00 pm. Friends of Sandbanks runs the Nature Shop. Look for the Friends publication, Sandscapes: Exploring the Dunes of Sandbanks Provincial Park. As well, exhibits provide an opportunity to learn more about Sandbanks history and natural features. Displays include live reptiles, amphibians and fish, as well as examples of some of the more common plant life found at Sandbanks. The Reel Thing Fishing Pro Shop is located at 151 Main Street in Wellington, at Wellington Harbour (at the intersection of Main Street and Belleville Streets). Next to us are the County of Prince Edward’s municipal docks, where seasonal and transient docking is available. We are the harbour master for Wellington docks. Marine gas and 30 amp power are available. Restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance. We rent out canoes, kayaks, 18’and 20’pontoon boats and 15’and 16′ aluminum boats with 15HP to 20HP motors. Dockside House vacation rental Available for vacation rentals is Dockside House, with 2 bedrooms+ 1 loft bedroom. During your stay, parking is provided for 1-2 vehicles, additional/trailer parking is available one block away.
