Sunday, December 9 @ 2pm
Wellington United Church, 243 Main Street in Wellington
The Friends of Wellington Library presents its annual opportunity to relax and enjoy Christmas-related writings by various authors and seasonal music by local musicians. Come join us for an afternoon of Christmas readings and music. This tradition started over ten years ago at the former Devonshire Inn and now alternates between St. Andrew’s Anglican Church and Wellington United Church.
Readers will be drawn from among the members of the Friends of Wellington Library. Music will be performed by County composer and guitarist Melanie James. Guest reader will be Ramesh Pooran who combines his retirement activities with reporting and taking photographs for the Wellington Times. Light refreshments will be served after the performance in the church hall.
We thank Wellington United Church and Reverend Steve Spicer for welcoming A Wellington Christmas this year. Please join us for this event. Admission: free-will offering at the door for projects undertaken by the Friends of
Wellington Library. We will also be collecting non-perishable goods for The Storehouse Foodbank. There is parking available at the church or on Main Street. For those who need assistance, there is an elevator at the rear of the church.
