The Harrowing of Brimstone McReedy

Created and performed by Eric Woolfe
Originally Directed by Dylan Trowbridge
Designed by Melanie McNeill

Festival Players kicks off our fall and winter series – Festival Players Presents – with a highly original creation from the mind of Eric Woolfe, nominated for Best New Play and Best Performance at the 2017 Dora Mavor Moore Awards. The Harrowing of Brimstone McReedy is a critically acclaimed, mostly true Old Time Terror yarn of a Grifter, the Devil, and cursed Klondike Gold. Told with puppets, con games, and dark parlour magic!

Nominated for two Dora Mavor Moore Awards: Best New Play and Best Performance

“NNNN… Eric Woolfe’s magic-infused puppet show about a Klondike Gold Rush era con man is a sure bet.” – NOW Magazine

“In the world of punk-tinged, Victorian gothic puppeteering, Eric Woolfe must rank near the very top.” – The Globe and Mail
