On the first Friday evening of most months , join Mark Armstrong for a fun overview and introduction to the basic art of glassblowing. Learn about the composition of glass and the tools and furnaces required to make glass. Learn some of the history of glassblowing and how modern art glass techniques have not changed much in hundreds of years.

Experience some of the fun qualities of glass like cane pulling or making a Prince Rupert’s drop.

This is not a hands on course, but will be an interactive teaching time. Questions and curiosity a must!

Cost: Free (registration is required)
Prerequisites: Ages 12+
Number of Participants: max 6

Evening lecture and demonstration
7:00pm – 9:00pm (maybe longer)
