We look forward to welcoming you to our ninth season of the Wellington Farmers’ Market. However, this year things are a little bit different. There will be a new way to ‘Market’. •
Visitors to the Market will have a designated area to line up where physical distancing will be required and practiced. Groups of up to 5 people in the same social circle will be allowed to line up together. Children must be attached to an adult or must understand what physical distancing means. •
Bicycles will not be allowed in the line up to Market or in the Market area. •
All visitors, vendors, and staff will be required to wear their own mask or face shield and sanitize their hands before entering and when exiting the WFM. There will be a sanitizing station at the entrance and at the exit. •
We request you show respect to other visitors, our Market vendors, and staff. Practice physical distancing always. Be kind. We will limit the number of visitors in the Market Area to 50 people. Visitors with mobility concerns and health issues, please let us know when you arrive, we have a spot for you at the front of the line. •
Visitors will make their way through the Market in one direction. The Market Entrance will be marked and located on the West side of the Wellington United Church. The Market Exit will be marked and located on the East side of the Wellington United Church. Information and directional signage will be provided. •
There will be no sampling of food. All food purchased at Market will be take away. •
Visitors are allowed to use their own reusable bags and containers. •
We are a pet friendly Market. Pets must be on a lead and well behaved. Please clean up after your pet. •
We have been working closely with our local Public Health officials and the PEC Mayors Office to provide a safe Market environment to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 in our community. If you are sick, or have been around someone that is sick, please stay at home. •
We look forward to offering you fresh local food, artisan made items, textiles, vintage, and much more. The WFM opens June 27 and runs on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. See you soon. •
