The dry stone bridge at Karlo Estates Winery in Hillier, was constructed in 2007 over Hubbs Creek (the creek is usually dry in the summer). The bridge was built with the Drystone Wall Association of Canada and volunteers from across Canada and the United States. This is a popular location for photos.
Dry stone, sometimes called drystack or, in Scotland, drystane, is a building method by which structures are constructed from stones without any mortar to bind them together. ref. Wikipedia
If you’d like to bring your own picnic basket, with or without the kids, Karlo Estates provides tables down by the drystone bridge just south of the vineyards.
