Located along the Loyalist Parkway (Highway 33) between Picton and Glenora, the 7-acre site is equipped with boat launching and docking facilities, a picnic shelter, and washrooms.

H.J. McFarland Conservation Area was set aside in memory of the late Harvey J. McFarland who served as Mayor of Picton for 20 years.
