Definition of Bed & Breakfast (B&B)

A lodging establishment that also functions as a residence for the owner-hosts. Breakfast is served to overnight guests. Bathrooms can be private or shared (with other guests or with the family in smaller establishments) or en-suite (where the ablutions are directly accessed from the guest bedroom).
